I remember reading a quote many years ago that labeled either the Big Healey or the Big Triumph (TR6 for you Healeyfiles) as "The Last of the Angry Sports Cars." I thought the description so apropos that it has stuck in my head all these years. Which car would it have described and to whom can the description be attributed?

BMC used the phrase "The Last Angry Sports Car" for the big Healey in ads and dealer lit.

Normally yes, but these days (April 27 - May 23) I am in Pennsylvania helping with Sprite Jubilee, so I have no access to my archives.

Look forward to seeing them when you get back from your trip.

Hi Patrick,
If you're into those old ads, you'd like Derek Job's website for the 100-6. HERE
