You had me nervous for a while t8nwa, very nice race. Right now Dart is on pace to win this event. It looks like it will be a close finish. What happens in the event of a tie? 16th leg Sudden death?

my sudden death will probably be either a pothole crew or another stupid SU Carb issue. But..it is really fun to play & playing is ALMOST as important as winning.

Yes, essentially, at th epresent time, the odds are 2-to-1 against you. He got lucky twice! The problem is, if you loose a bribe, the penalty is severe!

After winning the first one, figured I was toast if I tried it again. Then really messed up the leg and decided it was all or nothing...expected nothing. Got really lucky!!! I will admit I'm checking the route and mileage much closer now that it looks like I actually have a chance. Becomes tempting to run the last 4 legs in the last 4 days, but I don't think I can wait that long.

well, Dart definitely went against my stead fast rule on the first bribe. never bribe unless it is do or die. I thought about it after my fourth PHC on leg 9 but really thought Dan would find his own little mishap and even us out. Oh well. By the fifth PHC on leg 13, I was already out of contention.

Oh well, I think I will still be on the podium getting sprayed with virtual champagne from one of these two.

Yes, you'll be on the podium. Your 125 is a great score with 5 PHC's. I just hope you taking them means the averages don't leave any more for me. I think this will be very close IF I don't get snookered by the random fates.
