Just curious, for you folks that are new to the Virtual Rally, what do you think so far?

This is great fun. Some skill, some luck. How often do you hold rallies?
Thanks Basil for all of your efforts to get this game going. Dan, you're doing very well for a first-timer! Keep an eye in your rear view for tn8wa - he's very good at this game too! Basil

Basil, Great game, I'm having a lot of fun playing. Any possibility of a commercial product? Would be a small niche market though. Thanks for all the work putting this together

Thanks for all the work putting this together Glad you're enjoying it. I really hadn't thought of making it a "product" but rather a unique aspect of the BCF. Besides, by programming is much too "loose" to be a viable product. Basil

Great game. One question for you. When you run into road work,as I have become great at doing, is the time shown the correct time for the speed entered or is it affected by the road work? Just want to know if I'm doing a that well calculating my route and speed.

I think the time you see is the time you actually would have based on your route and speed.

I am 3 for 7 with the Pot Hole Gang. Seems like they have fondness for my little red car.....

At least on the legs where nothing bad happened, you scored 9s and 10s - not too shabby. Dan is playing well, but hasn't had too many bad things happen.

I was slow to get started, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. (I'm not last anymore!) I would love to play this with my students. I have to teach a unit on maps and map reading this month and this would be a great way to work with them on Road Maps. I'm actually working on a paper and pencil version that they would play in groups! (I even plan to have little strips of paper to give them that say "Road Work" just like I seem to constantly be finding!) Thanks Basil..I'll let you know how your creation translates to 13 years olds!
