Description
Wallace & Gromit made it home...tracked down the keys where the trucker spent the night...son and I took it for a spin in Fremont, NE....I've talked about my town of antique tractors, pickmup trucks and muscle cars before here on the BCF...and did we shake up the place with this little devil...from expressions no body new what the {censored} was going by...probably thinking it's one of those new foreign hybrids....

shussh...give my secret away for shows.. remember the body is metal....slap on - pull off...

also found out it's still the original paint job ordered some BU-35 1966 Austin Surf Blue spruce up paint today from this outfit...they've color charts back to the caveman wheel....actually the 30's but still pretty nice..

Bibber,

Are you a club member of the Flatwater AH Club? We'd love to have you bring your car to our fall show if you can. It's the first Sunday of October this year.

Tim...no I'm not...thought about it back when I first entered LBC's with the 62 Sprite 15+ years back but never seemed to get around to it. Have brushed paths with Greg Lemon and Leo Thietje. The A-35 Panel is definitely a few-of-it's-kind but not ready for show. Looks pretty decent in the pics and for a 66 it's not in bad shape but in all truth has a lot of cosmetic work to be done and mechanicals gone through to be safely roadworthy..it's all original though and I'm going to attempt to keep it that way including the original paint..going to attempt to just fix the really bad spots with an airbrush technic rather than a complete respray (we'll see)..if I can work it out I may come down to to the show just to say howdies....THANKS
