Description:
|
This is a pair of Spitfire springs intended, as SpitBits lists them, for 1971-1974 Spitfires. They are rated at 150lbs.
These were installed on my 1979 Spitfire for about 500 miles. We were told they were the solution to lower the front end a bit. I have since learned that they are NOT an appropriate solution for lowering the car, as they are weaker than the 180 lb. stock springs that came in the car. Live and learn. So... I have removed these springs and replaced them with uprated lowering springs that will do the job properly on my later model Spit.
BUT, if you've got an older Spit, and need to replace your worn out springs, these will do the trick!
Asking $40.00 for the pair, including shipping within the US.
