I'm selling my Midget - again. It's just sitting around collecting dust, so it's DEFINITELY time to sell it.
Everything you see in the pics is basically new - or never really used. Paint, wheels, tires, interior carpet, vinyl seats, interior panels, convertible top, chrome bumpers, overriders, luggage rack, badges, exhaust, and the list goes on and on.
I haven't touched the engine, so it looks like a typical, uncleaned 1275 Midget engine. The radiator has a HUGE leak, but I'm ordering a replacement for it today.
I think the first gear synchro has gone bad. It has a loud whine and pops out of gear at around 2,200 RPM. Other than that the tranny works as it should.
The windshield is cracked - I accidentally did this while installing new sun visors on the car. It was a new windshield as well. :mad2:
Minor things still need to be done. Door locks, seatbelts (which I already have) need to be installed.
Engine needs a tune-up. It runs and drives fine, but can be hard to start and idles a bit high once warmed up.
I'm asking $5,000 OBO. Also, I'll be putting this car on eBay next weekend, so this is your chance to get it without all the competition of an auction.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. jeff@mgaddict.com
