Description: This is a 1972 MGB Tourer tub up for sale that is a totally rust free Texas based car. I've owned this car for the past twenty-five years and actually got the restoration about 90% done (see the photos) before paint job problems started cropping up. I decided to take the car back down to the tub stage as the 1980's wings, bonnet, and front valance didn't fit well and I thought they should be replaced with OEM Heritage units before giving her a new paint job. Then the '74 GT came along (and I just couldn't pass her up!) and she was on the road and needs much less work and $$$ to get her where I want her. So now I'm selling the '72 as a rolling tub although I've got about 90% of the parts needed to finish her. I can sell her as a tub or put together a package deal that includes some or all of the parts I've got. Many of these parts are very hard to find NOS items like the windshield assembly and the dashboard. This would be a great project for someone who want's a project MGB to finish or a tub for someone whose got a rusty '72 that they'd like to replace the body on. This is a much cheaper route than going with a Heritage shell and will produce almost identical results. If I were keeping her I'd strip all the red paint off of her, add the new Heritage panels, repaint her, and put her back together.
