I recently rebuilt my leaf spring pack. I bought the teflon buttons off ebay. As is always the old buttons were completely gone and the leaf ends were rubbing the leaf below. The spring pack had no bounce. Over all it was an easy job. Two tips. 1: when remounting the pack, start the bolts first. Then rock the cradle, the centering pin will find it's way home. 2: disconnect the trailing arms and shocks. Give your self plenty of room to work inside and out. My rear end now is full of life and bounce, even the wife commented!
