Re: Pourquoi viens-tu si tard ?

Maybe I'm seeing replicas everywhere, but this one has some non-standard flares for a BJ8:

As I understand, it's an HMC.

Okay, hiding favorite tennis shoe and don't sneak up. The dog's additional barking was a by-the-way on how nice that Healey was, but then the main focus was almost lost during translation.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. You'll have to look sharp to find the hidden Healeys in these two.

Not much of a plot line, but a bunch of Healeys and one Mini on three wheels.

What's with the side curtain with no perspex?

When the guy opened the door to get in, the reflection of the camera crew would have been seen. So they took it out. I've taken a lot of glass out of picture frames in my career for that or a reflection of a really big light. Think 6000 watts.

The reflection off the Perspex interferes with the picture. I was hoping to see which side curtain style they had.

BN4s seem to be popular with film makers.

What could be more French than this? Jean-Paul Belmondo (who personally owned a Healey) in the 1960 film "Les Distractions" driving on the Champs Elysees, smoking Gauloises, and drinking wine?

He's my hero! I mean, as much as an admirer of British cars can be allowed to like anything French.

(Rick, you finally picked one I had seen before - I've had that one bookmarked for some time!)

Only Healey here is in the opening scene, but the full movie looks like it might be worth a watch due to the racing scenes, Here's a link to the full movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7ncweROe9U

I think this is the first one where their hair is actually blowing in the wind when driving with the top down.

Sorry I couldn't download this episode of "Heartbeat," a British police drama series set in 1960s North Riding of Yorkshire and broadcast on ITV in 18 series between 1992 and 2010. The episode linked below features lengthy scenes with a beautiful white over blue 100 with louvered bonnet and leather strap. Well worth clicking through to see the complete show.
