Were they cold, with the top down? Or did the heat from the engine and trans keep them warm

She must have used a ton of hairspray. Not a single hair moving while driving with the top down.

Thanks, Reid. I think I'm probably nearing the end of the road of the available resources on this. Not to worry, though. New material for the "Celebrity Heialeys" thread seems to keep on popping up and that one will probably continue for a while. Thanks for the kind words in the Marque.

Thanks for the tip, Drambuie. Lots of great period racing, not to mention some truly memorable acting:

Why do bad things always end up happening to Healeys?

You know, it's stuff like that that gives "foreign films" a bad name. Deservedly so!

Not even Fellini couldn't make heads or tails of that mish-mash...

Somebody please tell me that was a "prop" burning and not a real Healey.

Well it was a different car that is for sure. The burning car did not have the folding windshield

Gosh, it is hard to tell. The car on its side looks like a crude prop, and even the windshield looks opaque (solid, no glass) and no details on the car. But I must say the burning car looks real, especially what appears to be a 100 grille and clearly there is glass in the windshield. It is possible that they filmed the burning car first, then changed up and added the part with the car not burning and they had to build a prop for that...

Rick, we love that you are posting these, but our hearts are breaking every time we see these cars abused... Keep them coming, though...

That clip reminds me of British film of similar vintage 'Scream, and Scream Again'. Another rambling horror story with an obscure plot!
Vincent Price was in it so happy hunting, Rick.
