    Corpus Christi Texas, 1934

Some time in 1934, a traveling photographer arrived in Corpus Christi, hoping to convince local businesses to pay him to photograph their operations.

The early Depression years in a Gulf Coast city, documented in over 400 excellent black and white glass plate photographs, now kept at the Ransom Center of the University of Texas:

Not that it has anything to do with this, but I lived in CC from 1960-64. Fifth through eighth grade. Some good memories.
