From what I read earlier on another news site, there's a bit of a row brewing over this. Four of these subs have been sold to the Canadian government, they were all supposed to be seaworthy, three are still in a Scottish port undergoing repairs/maintenance. The fourth one was deemed ready to sail(if that describes a sub!), but obviously not. Hasn't the Canadian PM come under fire because of the deal?? Anyone see Down Periscope?

"Under Fire".... Not up here, we're /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF we just re-elect 'em. We also have a fleet of SeaKing hellicopters that are about 30 years old, and dropping out of the sky. This Gvmt cancelled a deal to buy new ones, that the Conservitive Gvmt set up several years ago and ended up costing us more in fines for cancelling the contract. And this stuff is just going to continue unfortunatly. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
