While working on my front suspension I seem to be catching a case of shipwrights disease. I noticed that inside my frame was a bunch of what appears to be sand. Either a PO media blasted the inside (not likely) or drove a lot on gravel roads (or maybe it's just from my driving alone?). Either way, I took a shop vac to the front ends of the frame (with radiator protector pan off) and to a couple of side vent holes and sucked a copious amount of this sand out. I know there still has to be more in there. Anyone devise a good way to clean out the inside of the frame (with the rest of the car still attached)? I reversed the vac so it was in blower mode and hit the same holes (very messy!). How many different compartmentalized areas are in the frame? I'd like to Waxoyl the frame once clean.
