Guys,
Am in the process of installing a new Stay Fast top on my TR6, have the back end nicely installed, now have to stretch the whole thing to the front to glue it to the front of the frame. Seems to be that I will need a lot of stretch 'cause the whole thing looks a little short. Question: anyway to heat this thing (not a lot of hot sun right now) to get it to stretch more? Heat gun? What?

Bill--I did my AABest Co. Stayfast install last winter with no problems with the second top they sent. These tops DO NOT stretch appreciably so don't heat it thinking you'll gain any more material for the front bow. Sounds like your top was miscut by the manufacturer. How do the top seams line-up with your bows (assuming you still have the webbing installed)?
