Triumph World Magazine

Chapters is somewhat unreliable for getting Triumph World in, I know this from experience, for that title if you really want it your best reliable way is to subscribe.

About Stag's... they're actually getting quite popular in southern Ontario right now, little known fact - they were only sold new down in the States, however a bunch of Ontario people have been buying them from the States recently (there were 13 or 14 Stag's at British Car Day Ontario in September, our club (below) has probably at least seven Stag's in the membership including the club chairperson, he would be a great contact if you want to know more about them - tonyfox@sympatico.ca

BTW - we're apparently getting our first real snow fall of the year tomorrow out here in the west.

Four Chapters book stores that I have gone to to pick up the October / November issue of Triumph World, are clueless about when issue will be in. The last five have been in the first week of the first month of the issue. All four outlets still have in stock Aug./ Sept issue.
To anyone who picks up this great magazine... Have you seen the latest issue?????
Also, since looking at the June/ July issue, I have fallen in love with the Stag. I don't recall seeing any posts on here from Stag owners. Any around?

Don't know if you have Barnes & Noble up in Canada, but they are a reliable source for Triumph world.

No Barnes & Nobles up here yet (they might be on the way still sometime...) Our big box bookstore chain is called Chapters and/or Indigo Books, both owned by the same company. They carry at least one magazine for each of the major British makes (Triumph, MG, Jaguar, etc...), along with with the other main British magazines.

Don't know about any of you guys, but where possible I like to support a locally owned store. When I was back in Ontario I bought most of my British car magazines from a downtown magazine store, his selection came close to rivalling the big box stores. One day when I was looking for Practical Classics, which he didn't carry, I asked him about it and mentioned his other local competitor at a nearby shopping plaza. The next month he started carrying it. He was excellent to deal with and would bring in almost anything available through the big distributors if you told him he had at least one guaranteed sale monthly.

Unfortunately, there are really no small book stores left in my area that have the selection of magazines like B&N. I would prefer to support a small, local merchant as well.
