Oh rats! I just got a news popup on my cell phone about a recall of my favorite cookie, Chips Ahoy! A version of this popular cookie has been recalled. In a statement, the company said the cookies contained an "unexpected solidified ingredient." Officials did not elaborate on the unknown ingredient but added that "some reports of potential adverse health effects have been received."

Hmmmm. I hate it when I find unexpected solidified ingredients in my food!

See just another example of the nanny culture we live in. :madder:

Back in my college days pretty much my entire diet was unexpected solidified ingredients.

Didn't affect me none

The term "solidified" kinda implies it was a bit less solid when added... eeewwww. Rat feces comes to mind. Reminds me of an old joke about it being found in a ground coffee shipment.

Dehydrated or petrified rat scat? Which would you prefer in your next shipment? :eeek:

Lipton's Chicken Noodle Soup had that problem years ago, they didn't have ANY solidified ingredients! As Arthur Geoffrey used to say, they just let a chicken walk through!:highly_amused:

A line from an old Eddie Murphy skit. "Say, these almonds have legs!"
