Heading to Bletchley Park in August and just asking if anyone has any ideas regarding other sites to visit and good eateries? From Pittsburgh Pa and have visited the UK many times as it is an awesome country! Also have a totally restored 68 Triumph TR-250.

Beside the National Computing Museum I mentioned in your other post, how 'bout:

Box Hill.

There's also:

Tangmere: https://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk (They've got a Gloster Meteor F8.)

Wingsmuseum: https://www.wingsmuseum.co.uk/gallery.htm (Restoration and Archeology)

Biggin Hill: https://bigginhillheritagehangar.co.uk (Spitfire restorations - you can fly in one.)

and the re-created Anglo-Saxon village at Stow: https://www.weststow.org

And down south, historic Portsmouth Docks: https://www.historicdockyard.co.uk/si...s-jutland-1916

And so much more ...

Thanks for that link, Tom. I'd heard of a "bigger" Enigma but didn't know the story. Fascinating.

Shuttleworth collection is well worth a visit. Lots of places, depends on how long you are here and how far you want to travel.

Haven't been there since they rennovated the place a few years back (?). I was last there in maybe 2007 and the place, in opinion, needed to be spruced up... but I believe it has been. It's not a long visit to Bletchey Park, and I'd defer to others about what else to see while in the area (as I can't remember). They have a model of the computer "bomb" but only a model as, sadly, the original was purposely destroyed.
