    Looking at that first Hillman photo (6763), it seems that luggage space is over-rated.

    Great pics! Interesting difference in the colour car photos the difference between "posed for the camera" and "posed for the ad."

    Did you see Abraham Lincoln's photo with his Dodge van?

    Thanks for posting, Tom. These photos have a certain "quality" of 50s and 60s film. Can you photography guys explain it? Have they been subject to any digital enhancements? Here's the LBCs

    I doubt the have been enhanced. However I think part of the answer is in your question - film - not digital, plus the developing process (Kodachrome?) you get a similar colour saturation in post war movies of the 50's and early 60's. I would also say there is likely a different quality of light in Australia. I have a friend who is originally from South Africa - he could tell if a picture was taken in Canada or Florida - or SA for that matter.
