They said it was to snow today,so I figured
"Sure - we'll get an inch or two".This is what it turned
out like.
Was scheduled to work at 8 AM today. As I was
cleaning the snow off the truck, the driver's side wiper
blade assembly popped off.Took me about 10 minutes
to figure out how to get it back on.
Made it to work OK,just 12 minutes late.On the way
home,I was in 2WD,& couldn't make it up the hill just
North of our house.I put it in 4WD low,& made it up with
no problems, until I got out of the truck,& promptly sank
into the snow in the driveway.
We got over 14"!View attachment 56609View attachment 56610View attachment 56611View attachment 56612View attachment 56613

Did it ever snow in Eureka?

It has on the northern Oregon coast before, but it's unusual.

Asheville NC has had over 6" on top of glare ice. The're one giant Slip-n-Slide. Sounds like Roanoke is about the same.

Ever hear the statement: "It the pilgrims had landed in California, the East Coast would be a wilderness still."

Yes - it would snow about once every 10 years. We would get
maybe an inch of it,& it would melt away within a few days.

When I left for work this morning,I had to put the truck in 4WD,
to get out of the driveway.Same thing when I came home.On the way to work,
there was a snowplow that the rear end had slipped off the road.
I prefer to drive when there's a little bit of snow on the road, rather than
the messy stuff after they plow it,& put that nasty stuff they put down.
