TR2/3/3A Brake light switch location

About eight years ago I rebuilt the chassis of the Tr3A and in the process I may have lost the mounting point for the brake light switch. I know it goes in the right front corner but I'm not sure whether I forgot to replace a mounting tab. Could someone provide me with a photo of the mounting of the switch please?
My switch. I take it that the thingamy on the top is the restrictor. Am I correct?


Second question without notice!
What is the tab that hangs from brace for the suspension turret in the middle of the following photo. There is one on the left and one on the right braces.


Third question without notice!
The following photo shows the hole in the firewall through which the steering column passes in a left hand drive car. I am converting to right hand drive. Can anyone tell me if the bolt holes on the right hand side are the same or are they a mirror image?

There was some discussion about them in another thread and I think it was concluded that they were to help space the frames during transport.

Not the best pics...and I am not positive that the TR2 is exactly the same, but here are some that should get you going:











I am certain the valve is completely different, but I believe the frame mounting tab remained the same throughout production.

There was a different mounting tab added on the main frame rail for the Girling 5-way connector; as in Geo's photo. The unused tab hanging down from the brace is the old mounting point (for Lockheed brakes). The matching tab on the other side held the 3-way connector, as in John's photo above.

Sorry, I can't help with the bolt holes; except to note that many of them were only on one side, and did not move for LHS vs RHS. For example, the control box and wiper motors did not swap sides for LHS vs RHS. There is also a group of bolt holes (4 IIRC) that are only on the right, and simply unused on LHS cars. I think they were for the bracket that supports the throttle pedal (106752), but not certain.

Thanks guys. I recall now that it had the small slotted tab attached to the main chassis member. Pretty sure I still have the tab in one of the boxes in the shed. Not sure why I didn't weld it back on at the time.

Randall, you are correct about the he four bolt holes. The throttle rod bends up and over the brake clutch peddle assembly and requires more support.
