I have a 1994 XJS 6 cyl 2+2 Convertible, (That I drive on pretty days.)

Looking for advice on repairs or perhaps just refill on Hood Hydraulics.
Also: regular coolant loss, no obvious leak, and not going into oil or trans.

I also have a 1960 Mark IX that I intended to restore, but would consider selling.

Welcome aboard Bob! You might want to post your specific questions in the Jaguar forum here also. That said, I'd try the refill on the hydrollics first and see if it holds. If not then consider a rebuild. As for the coolant loss, there may be others with thoughts but the first thing I'd think of (if you are sure there are no leaks) is a possible faulty head gasket. (Coolant going out the head gasket).
