Hi,
I´m from Sweden and I got my first Healey back in -85. It was a -63 3000 MKII BJ7, which I restored over the course of three years.
It was a hobby that I really got involved in and I helpt quite a few friends with their restorations. When I thought that I had learned quite a bit, in the end of the ninetees, I decided to try my luck in opening a small restoration business. I was excepting it to be an extra job only, since Sweden is a small country and thus the market for Austin Healeys is also small. Right from the beginning it became a full time job and I´ve had more to do than I ever dreamed of.
I have always tried to help other enthusiasts if I can. A lot of people contact me for free advise and I have produced a couple of videos on rebuilding gearboxes, overdrives e.t.c. that have turned out to be quite popular.
I also run a website for my company, Boras Motor Corporation, in which besides promoting the company I aim to help people by trying to show how these cars were put together. There are lot’s of photos but not very much text, since my time unfortunately doesn’t allow too much writing. I hope that the photos will be of help though. If you are interested please go to my website and have a look: www.healeyspecialists.com
All the best wishes to everyone,
Magnus
