Great road Rt100. My sister lives further south right near Rt100 in Ludlow. I've often thought of taking my TR3 up there, but the thought of a five hour drive up there from Long Island just doesn't cut it for me. Maybe if I trailer it up there...

Thanks for sharing.

Did you say Lulow  Most of our group met there for breakfast on the way up to Stowe...
We drive a Spit which is a far cry from long trip friendly, so cruising the TR3 up that way is doable.
It takes us nearly 7 hours to reach Stowe from our home in Rehoboth, Ma. All back roads, no inter-state..

There's a snap from our meet up in Ludlow attached.. why not meet us there next year, see you around 10:30 -11:00 -

Hey, that's in front of the Mill. I imagine that you're having breakfast at the Hatchery. Maybe you will see me next year.

I used to live in Vt (Randolph) and had lots of fun driving around he mountain roads. Or at least, the ones that were in good shape! Stowe is fantastic, and the All British Field Meet is well worth going too.

i live in MI now and miss the scenery...

It would indeed! I’d like to come back and revisit some old haunts as well! Maybe invest in some HeadyTopper...

Hi Alan,

Great video. Sorry I missed you this year, my wife took ill at the last minute and I had to cancel. Wouldn't it be perfect if the Invasion could be held during peak foliage season? Driving around those VT roads would be spectacular. Of course, it could never happen as room rates would be sky high and those wonderful back roads would be clogged with leaf peepers.

Nice video.
I also like Rt 108 through Smugglers Notch, just North of Stowe. It's a bit like an autocross but with boulders instead of plastic cones. It's closed to trucks but not all heed the warning. This one closed the road for quite a while. (Burlington Free Press Photo)

David Townsend and I had a "Code Brown" moment on 108 during the Invasion a couple of years ago. Coming back from dinner, we were about to round a curve with a large boulder at the apex on our side of the road when an SUV came from the opposite direction 3/4 into our lane. Yikes!

I'm really sorry you couldn't make it.. We had such a great time this year. The band was great, the show was great, so many friends around.. it was just a wonderful 4 days.
