TR4/4A Fuel Injected Herald

I was watching an episode of Car SOS where they repair classic cars for deserving owners who have owned the car for years but are too ill to restore the basket cases.
Their family nominate their dad or mum's car and Fuzz and Tim take the car away and repair it in secret, with a big reveal and surprise for the owner.
They restored a Triumph Herald and replaced the carbie with fuel injection, then had it drag off a red hotted up Herald.
It beat the red hotted Herald by quite a bit.

At about 2500 British pounds it might be an expensive fix for my carbies which have a tiny leak.

I couldn't play the video and I would have liked to since I am a Herald driver, although I don't think I'll be racing anybody. (I did do a half dozen laps on a racecourse in my Herald recently but did not set a course record).
Fuel injection does provide very accurate and precise fuel metering don't expect a dramatic increase in power with a change to fuel injection by itself. That will require changes in compression, balance, head airflow, manifolds, cam, valves and the rest. Your £2500 will be spent many time over.
