Mg Midget # 4

Hello BCF it's been several years but now have another British car to spend my spare time on. I am from England originally and had 3 midgets while there. My favorite memory being my 1275 that I drove from England to Paris France (via the Ferry) and camped out of it through the Journey. I dont think I intentionally go looking for the Midgets, they seem to find me hence the 1979 I just acquired as a 75% restored car, I would have preferred an older one but was too good to pass up. The biggest challenge will be the wiring that has had 40 years of previous owners doing their thing! May consider new harnesses to help keep stress levels down - ha.
I will be checking on BCF for advise on that.

BTW JPSmit the Viva was the first car I ever owned in England in the 70's first engine I ever rebuilt too lol.

What goes around comes around very cool - was it a GT? (If not and if you remember the license number I can check the registry to see if it still exists)

It wasn't a GT, and although I don't remember the licence plate, I'm guessing the car is not around because even back then because all I could afford was good old filler to combat the very rusted body - no doubt due to the rock salt used on the roads in the winters for ice.
