Now I know this is not Healey related but we all appreciate restoration work and what can be done with skill and effort .
Look what these guys have done with wreck of Bluebird K7 that was pulled from the depths of Lake Coniston in the UK
For those unfamiliar with the story Donald Campell was trying to break the 300mph barrier on water in 1967 when the boat flipped and he was killed .
The wreck of Bluebird and Donalds remains were recovered in 2001ish and they have spent the past 17yrs restoring the boat all done on volunteer time and sponsorship.
The intention is to return her to Lake Coniston for a ceremonial run (not at 300mph) then place her in a museum .
Now dont forget the wreck spent the best part of fourty years under water .
Incredible work they have done .
Its definitely on my bucket list to go back to the UK and see her run .
