    HVDA and Celica 5-speed hearbox

Blast from the past. I purchased this kit along with other items for $800. It was my 2nd HVDA conversion that I installed in my 3A.

I remember having my 3A on a trailer after just purchasing it. We stopped on the way home to check out the parts, everyone came out to see the 3A while I loaded up the HVDA and parts into the back of my truck , then continued home with a big grin, a dream and a project. It was a good trip, really good trip!

Anyone out there sitting on a HVDA kit they aren't going to use? I'm looking to pick one up and with the passing of Herman I have no idea when they will be available again.

    Thanks,

    Troy

Hard to find Toyota 5-speeds gearboxes too. I'd be surprised if someone has an HVDA kit for sale right now. I suspect someone will continue Herman's business in the near future. Great product.

Everything that I've seen written about him states what a kind and generous man he was. I'm sure they will but I freaked out a bit when I saw Helena's post on the web sight. I hope she is doing well. I know it has been a tough year and a half for my mother after the passing of my father.

I spoke to Herman many times when I was installing his kit in my car. Herman was everything you say and much more! He always took as much time as needed to make sure you got things right and he did it graciously. He will be missed.
