T-Series Missed BOTY

Translates to "Buy of the year". In my never ending quest for another "project" I regular peruse CL for the eastern seaboard. Currently looking hard for a "Shoebox Ford" but no one is selling because it's winter here in New England. But I digress.

The BOTY is/was a 1953 MG TD located in northern NJ. Car had been in storage for 52, that's right fifty two years. Needed typical restoration especially the interior but the body looked exceptional except for a repaint in ugly maroon. All there with no discernible dents or rust. The best part $8895. +/-

It was on CL Tuesday night and by Wed afternoon it was gone ! Somebody got a deal but not me.

Tough to miss them, but think of all the money you didn't spend on the restoration. You're rich!
