BJ7 end couplings for fuel line

Ineed to replace my fuel line and perhaps it is cheaper to purchase tubing locally than the $115.00 Moss price. However I would need the end couplings attaching to the pump and the end connecting to the tube leading to the carbs.

Any info on size of tubing needed and where couplings are available would be appreciated.

Also, Classic Tube will make you up some pre bent lines.

You could purchase a 25 ft roll of 5/16" cunifer or steel tubing inexpensively on Amazon or from FedHill trading. Cut off the banjo fitting at the pump, leaving enough for a stub. Use 5/16" ID fuel rubber hose to connect the pump to the pipe and the pipe up front to the carb connection.

The BJ7 squared body fuel pump accepts female fittings for input and output - so no banjo fittings here. Creating a new steel and/or cunifer fuel line to run the length of the car from fuel pump to inner left fender of engine compartment is a good idea; however to properly connect the rubber fuel lines to the pump, a barbed, banjo-type or similar fitting is needed. Knowing the fitting's specs to properly seal to the fuel pump is a challenge. Is it an AN-type fitting? GONZO

Hi guys,
I'm going to reuse original fittings and 5/16" Cunifer line, the only problem is how long is the line for BJ8 going from the fuel pump to the front carb hose.
My original line consist of terribly spliced pieces of steel lines and rubber hoses, total mess and fire hazard impossible to measure even approximately.
Any information about the line length will be greatly appreciated.

Great suggestion Steve, I still hope somebody did it or doing lines a have a measurements. Maybe someone has lines before installation and can measure it?
Soon I will have to figure out the length to be able to braze original couplings on.
