View attachment 50477Just sold the Datsun B210 project car,& cleared 1/2 the garage out,
with getting rid of all the parts. Now we're down to 5 vehicles,& the Dakota
is up for sale. That'll be the fewest we've had in the last 35+ years!
So,I've sold the Anglia 105E,the '78 Triumph Bonneville,& the Datsun.
Since I probably won't have any extra money for a while,I think that I'm safe.

I just put the Dakota up on craigslist,& got a call to see if
I'd take 4 pounds for it - he wasn't talking about English money.
I had to go back & add - "No 215 trades".
I won't miss this part of California.

Well done, Doug!

But no matter how little money we have, we're never really "safe" are we.

I sold the truck today to the first person who looked at it,
& got my asking price.
Isn't it weird how sometimes you sell something that quickly?
Now we're down to ONLY four vehicles!

Some things just seem to be an easy sell. Congrats on getting it sold and gone.

The thing that I hate about selling the Dakota is that
I REALLY liked that truck. It worked perfect for me,& wouldn't have
been too upset if I had to drive it a while longer.
OTOH,the Ford is just about what I was looking for,
although I would've preferred a manual transmission.It's the only
automatic that we have.
