Hello all,

My name is Daniel and I hail from Maricopa, Arizona. I inherited a liking of tiny British autos from my father and now have inherited the lot of autos he has been keeping for the last 30+ years.

If any of you were running AH, MG or the like on the west coast during the 70's and 80's you may have even known my dad as he was the local go to for "specialist" like attention!

The stable is as follows:

1958 AH 'Bugeye' Sprite that was my dads baby, running but in need of some TLC
two other Bugeye's, one mostly in boxes and one on blocks that was found under a tree in Santa Cruz- to say it is a little rusty would be an understatement
1972 MG Midget, complete minus the engine which I robbed to get the first Bugeye back on the road.
1961 Morris Minor p/u, slightly torn down awaiting restoration
1971 MGB GT rolling chassis and boxes of parts

and a AH 100 BN1 still working on gathering paperwork to determine exact year. Have complete car and then some, 1st priority for restoration once my dads car is back on the road.

Hope to learn from all of you and work through the quirkiness of these cars together!

Daniel

Welcome to the BCF Daniel! You've come to the right place, and be sure to check the Austin Healey, MG and Spridget Forums frequently.

Good luck with your newly acquired stable. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you. I'm sure that BCF will be of great help.

Just curious, what was your Dad's name and/or business name?

Thanks for the welcome!

Reid, my Dads name is Mark Atchison, worked out of a home garage in the bay area most of the time. MIGHT have used name of Marcus Motors. The bugeye with the flames in my initial post was his and has had that paint scheme since the very early 80's.
