Four years...I watched, waited, and searched. NOW a decent set turns up!

I don't know how much it has helped them being from Arizona....I think my Northern Ontario, Driven in Winter on salted roads looks like a better starting point

Maybe a generous soul will make an offer and bring them all back to life. Might require a spare $200,000 to do it. Not sure there's a ready candidate out there. What a shame. Outdoor storage, in the end, is still outdoor storage, and like Neil Young says, "Rust never sleeps."

I found this interesting. It's a nothing special U-joint, except they designed the grease fitting to go in one of the cups. That would make it much easier to access...I've had so many times I could not connect my "fat" grease gun to the fitting between the yokes. I like the idea.

Here is a really great buy. They were courteous enough to remove the part that was rusted on your car too...so you can more easily replace the portion you don't need!

Oh my. Surely 3 wrenches won't bring that much!

Dan, how is the boot project coming?

    Hi John!

You mean the rewiring project that led to the rusted boot floor project that was followed shortly by my home being robbed? It's limping along . . . .

My karma needs a reset! But it's ok, as I am staying positive and the sides/bottom of the boot box section on the Doretti is nowhere near as bad as the top section, so a flat repair panel may do it.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the bad luck. If it's true bad luck comes in threes, you should be covered for a while!?!

This is pretty amazing actually-for that last touch to the original restoration, considering the rarity of finding all the pieces in that kind of shape the price isn't too crazy. https://m.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Stanpart-...QAAOSwZ~JZ467F

That's really a deal if you're looking for that last OEM touch! Shame it doesn't include our TR style tunnel mount...it'd be perfect then!
