    V10 in a BMW e30 (325)

I found this while I was looking for some information on my much neglected BMW. The engineering, fabrication, welding and everything else was so impressive I thought I post it here, even though it's quite a few years old and not British.

Impressive work, but I bet there are a lot of E30 M3 fans that had a heart attack over that swap.

That's cool! I wonder why they didn't start with a regular
    3 series,rather than an M3? The M3s are worth a lot,& very collectible,
while you pick up the regular ones for near nothing.

A couple of guesses: 1. The owner already had it and it needed restoration anyway. 2. Money was obviously not an issue. Tom

I just saw one this week on Velocity Junkyard Empire, didn't I? Black, four door at least, maybe a wagon..had a fire, engine compartment, so the guy did a V-10 into it.
