I have an unknown puller type electric fan mounted in my 59 TR3A and have found the controller to now be non-functioning. I suspected it was going as it was unreliable when adjusting the kick on temperature and the knob and shaft were seemingly off cnter (seemed bent). Does anyone know where a replacement can be obtained? There are no mfg. names o the system.

I always used Flex-A-Lite controllers and fans when I installed EFK's on Audi's I worked on back in the day. This one should work for you since we don't have an AC feature. The other one (31149) has a built in AC relay for newer cars so when you turn on the AC it kicks on the fan.

If your TR3A is still wired positive ground, you might want to ask if the controller can work with it. ISTR there was some reason the DeRale controller wouldn't work with positive ground. But otherwise it's an excellent unit. You can use the A/C input for an override switch if you want (but I've only found mine to be useful for testing, never had a reason to use it while driving).
