    TR4/4A Re: Head leaking water

I replaced one years ago but don't remember any threads but I have slept since them. A temp fix is JB weld. I did a freeze plug on a Healey engine a couple years ago and its still going.

    Re: Restoration project, needs work

My wife fusses at me for some of the cars I bring home. Showed her this one, she said she won't say a word but I can't bring that one home. Told her not a problem.

Re: Austin Healey 100 engine color

I had a thread on this about two years ago. I built three late BJ8 engines, all three had a blue color underneath the healey green. Never got a satisfactory answer on why.51954

    Re: Best Interiors

I got a complete interior kit from Jon Skinner in England. Very pleased with it. It was for BJ8 with correct clear piping most other companies don't offer.

TR5/TR250 Re: Stumped TR250 Running Rough

The 250 I have for sale was doing that some, it sits a lot. I screwed the jets down a couple of flats ( HS6 carbs) and it straightened out. Figured a little varnish already on needles. So maybe pull...

TR2/3/3A Re: Beauty Rings Don't Fit

ARE (American Racing Equipment) wheels, about like a surrey top, hard to find and expensive when you do find a good set. I have one set left that are going on a 250.

TR6 Re: TR6 Cross Tube Differences?

Later ones (75/76) extra braceing tabs for the raised bumper. I think the 74 was a little different, others should be same.

    TR2/3/3A Re: Death by Electrocution

With ign sw off, run a hot wire from battery to coil. Hit the starter button and see if it starts. That will give you idea of wiring harness condition. If it cranks then I would look at ign sw first...

Same as Healey Nut, except I did all the superstructure and underside of fenders. Saved a few bucks that way as well.

Re: bn6 drum brake front hubs

Don't think so. I believe the axle shaft size is different. You have to go a little deeper and change kingpin out as well. Ran into that when I put put disc brakes on my brothers 100/6.

General Tech Re: Crank bearing cap broke...Torque??

Will dig into my stuff tomorrow. I was letting everyone speak first. I would try a used one first with plastaguage, odds are it will work. It is the rear one you need?
