    You need to remove. They are a body mans nightmare....perfect area for runs and terrible to sand around. Fit new ones with a pneumatic rivet gun....problem solved.

    On another note, there was a reason the early car bodies where bonded to the chassis....for strength!
    "A" pillars take a beating if the inner structure is not supported properly.

    If the tubes rust, they generally expand the fibreglass that they are wrapped with.
    outrigger tubs and the rear tube are the ones that usually rust. These can be replaced without removing the...
