    Re: Mozilla Firefox almost worthless

My browser of choice since Mozilla and Adobe had their falling out is Chrome, with it in the "incognito" mode. And whether it means anything or not, I "clear browsing data" before closing the browser.

    Re: Rim Shot Sound

Basil Fawlty's: "You started it!" made me about wet meself when it first aired. Me Ol' Fella had tears rolling down his cheeks from laughing so hard. Those were th' days.

Re: Took my 63 for coffee

    Re: Another false assertion

Yup. Big difference between a restoration and a rebuild. That you were able to FIND the proper parts is amazing. We had the devil's own time getting info and bits for a DB 2/4 drophead in the days...

    Re: June 6th

Today's date marks the anniversary of my Ol' Fella's arrival on the beach. With an anti-aircraft gun crew. He made it all the way to the Ruhr before an 88 round came close enough to knock him out of...

    MGB Re: Breakfast surprise

"Need" and "want" are kinda interchangeable here... but room for any more gear is the problem. After we shut down the shop, I've no access to a lift, hydraulic press, machine tools, etc. And no...

    MGB Re: Attachment points

Some of those mounting points are illustrated in the factory shop manuals, the Bentley Press book "The Complete Official MGB" is a good copy of it. Moss Motors is another fair source, in that the...

    Re: Price of lifetime cars

Sold my 1965 Lotus Cortina Mk-I in '89 to some Scandinavians for $6k, I thought the price would dissuade them. Kicking myself ever since.
