Good question Rob. Unfortunately, I do not know as I have not tried that yet. However, the next time I have the car on the lift, I will check it out and report back.

    Re: Bleeding Brakes!

    Hi Steve,
As you know I use your syringe method for bleeding brakes and clutch and like it. The only down side I experienced was that on initial bleeding when you don't have fluid in the pipes, you...

This write up of my hardtop restoration that I did a few years back may be helpful?

Scroll down on this link and you will see the way I tilted the driver’s seat in my car. Combined with the slightly smaller steering wheel tilting the seat frame rearward was helpful....

Re: never throw old parts away....

I had that same problem ten years ago when I restored my car! Guess “they” continue to sell those poorly fitting parts after all this time.

You should get a better fit than that. Read through this write-up I did a few years back to see if there might not be some tips that would help.

Have you made your wires slightly different lengths? You can remove the bullet connectors and reinstall (crimp or solder) them after the wires are through the tube.

Thanks to Keoke, Mike and Steve for responses. I am not going the JB Weld route this time. I will find a good used one or buy a new one.

Post in float bowl came loose

The post used to secure the cap to the float bowl pulled loose from the bottom of the front float chamber. It did not damage the bowl (no holes). My question is this, can I use JB Weld to “glue” the...

Did your car have fog/driving lights? It is hard to tell in the photo, but if that wire is fabric and is red/yellow, I believe the wire would have been used for the lights if wire color convention...

I purchased mine from Coker and had them drop shipped to Hendrix. Alan then checked and trued my wires and installed and balanced the tires. Happy customer.

I use the XASs on my BT7 and love them. Installed by Hendrix. Did it based on Michael Oritt’s recommendation.

Hey Randy. I really like that pipe bender. Is it as old as Fred Flinstone or can you share a vendor name, part number or some place from where I might purchase one?
