I am rebuilding a 1976 MG-B that I purchased non-running. There are a few 'modifications' to the electrical system, particularly in the motor compartment. I found a module that is mounted on a bracket or the R/H side of the engine bay just ahead of the heater blower. There is a 'speedo type' cable from the transmission that goes into the bottom & another speedo type cable that goes from the top of the module to the speedometer. trying to disasemble the door lock and cannot get the smooth circular head bolt off of the door lock slide bar. it is a small bolt that goes thru some sort of lock washer but cannot get it apart Tom
The Lucas ignition switch, 394150, completely fell apart. It is behind the actual lock and is the type where the steering wheel locks. I've got the thing off the column and verified the part number. However, I'm having some difficulties trying to find a new one. I"ve tried XKS and they sent the wrong part for a series i. Any ideas?
