MG Midget 1970 - for restoration or parts car (http://www.panjo.com/buy/mg-midget-1970-for-restoration-or-parts-car-171689)

Now $100

Needs new floors and sills (skills I don?t have).
Last time I looked, the area around the rear suspensions mounts were solid.

History:
Bought this in 1990 or thereabouts.
It was always burning oil (I mean, a lot) and got to be hard starting. A compression analysis indicated it was the head - so I pulled the head and had it professionally redone.
Re-installed and it wouldn't even start, BUT THE ENGINE DOES TURN OVER. So it has sat around for the last 10 years (somewhat like it's owner).
The car is about 98% all there. I used it for my commute to RTP. Clutch and gearbox are fine, all the instruments work. Pirellis still hold air so we can push it on a trailer.
FORGOT TO MENTION, I HAVE THE TITLE FOR YOU.

I?m up in Youngsville, just north of Wake Forest.

Cheers, Adrian

Hey BigJones, I'm interested in the MG but I'm trying to figure out the logistics of getting it back to NY without it costing three times the purchase price. Gonna check Uhaul and see if I can work a deal. Rob Skyrob66@yahoo.com

Sounds good. Let me know how you get on with Uhaul.
Cheers!

PS. Forgot to mention, I have the title.
