BN 2 bell housing, transmission, overdrive, shaft and diff in pumpkin (http://www.panjo.com/buy/bn-2-bellhousing-transmission-overdrive-shaft-and-diff-in-pumkin-148795)

These were spares for my vintage race car that were never used so I can't say how well they work ; told they worked fine when purchased but if I need them would have sent them to Quantum Mechanics to check them out before using them on the track.. The purchaser will need to make his own assessment and as this is quite a large and heavy group of parts they would need to be picked up or the buyer will need to arrange crating and shipping. Price is negotiable. The car is sold and need to find a home for its spares. I have many other wheels and tires, brakes, suspension parts, carburetor parts and tools as well. Please PM me for more details, pictures .

Help ! I joined the Forum about 10 years ago when I retired and I purchased a 55 AH100 race car and subsequently raced it until a couple of years ago . In the sixties I owned an MGA, Austin A40, MGB and MG 1100. It had been a long time away from British cars when I purchased the Healey in 2003. My son-in-law and I were working on the transmission/clutch at about 2 AM when he, a computer savvy young guy, found the Forum and Dave Russell who had deep knowledge of things AH 100 and was invaluable resource. I have sold the car to a collector from the Netherlands and have numerous spare parts which I bought whenever I could thinking I may need them. The parts on offer have drawn many, 174 views through today, but only one response. This was somewhat of surprise as I thought this Forum would be the best one to find a new home for these and many other parts. Any thoughts on why this is or where else might be a better alternative.

thx jtb

IMHO your parts are too expensive for enthusiasts in this forum to purchase specially when the condition is unknown. You are better off putting them on ebay or finding a buyer with deep pockets abroad who will pay your asking price for these parts.

Thanks for the input. When I posted the ad I tried to list it as "best offer" but a number was required by the listing. My thought was that somebody would be interested enough to come and make their own assessment and negotiate a price. I am not a business just a long term enthusiast who has parts and would like to see them find new homes and get back part of my expenditure. Ideally, someone would buy all of the spares as a package.
