I'm looking for a RHD dash for my Bugeye, can be a Bugeye or MKII Sprite.
Thanks, Rut

I posted in the forum thread and then saw your WTB.

I purchased 2x fiberglass "bare" dashboards from Frogeye Spares in the UK for $78 each. They have the standard RHD Bugeye layout of guages and switches but are not cut out yet. I also purchased 2x repro Dash Cones (as they call them) or plinths with new brass horn ring. There is a difference with the plinth, all be it slight, with the angle of the steering column to the dash and the orientation of the plinth on the dash, which aligns the brass ring for the horn. I think these were approx $36 each and the brass slip ring was $15. So for less than cost of just the dash in the US, you could get all the parts you need for $130 plus shipping.

As far as cutting and welding a LH dash, I am not sure that they are symetrical. However tomorrow, I can align an inverted Mk 2 dash I have with one of the fiberglass dashes to see if it is indeed symetrical.

Here are the links to Frogeye spares.

Hi Rut,

I did measure up the LH steel dash against the fiberglass RH dash and they are indeed symmetrical. With the LH dash inverted on top of the RH dash, ignition switch lined, up as did gauge holes, choke and starter etc... The only piece that would be tricky, is the section where the speedo trip meter reset and the dash lights switch are located.

Thanks so much for the information and offer and I will keep it in my hip pocket, so to speak. I really want an original RHD dash in metal and I'm not at the point of needing it now so I will continue my search. I'll save your message in case I come up empty.
Thanks, Rut

I purchased a RHD dash and all of the associated parts from A.H. Spares a few years back. I don't recall what I paid or the shipping cost, but it wasn't crazy
