Hi,
We have just moved house and have been lucky enough to uncover what appears to be an Austin 1930s pickup. The badges are there and most parts though in very poor condition (and in parts). The frame is wooden, engine in, original number plate there but haven't located VIN as yet (if anyone can tell me where it would be exactly that would be helpful) We are looking to sell and have plenty of photos that we can send to you.

PLease email or call

It's a bit hard to tell with all that moss and what-not, but that doesn't look pre-war to me. Certainly that radiator hose isn't! If I had to guess, I'd say it looks like an early BMC A-type engine, from Austin A30 or thereabouts.
Austin didn't make anything with a wooden frame, so maybe you have a home-built 'special' of some sort?
