The last 5 years has been dedicated to creating the best looking and performing street TR 3 possible. A true labor of love. It is not a concourse car, nor was it meant to be. It is fun to drive and was done to a high standard to drive and enjoy. Magnificent red on black 1960 Triumph TR3 in excellent condition and the result of 5 years of owners pride and care. It has always been garaged and not driven on salted roads or out in the rain. The car has recently undergone many hours and many $'s of restoration work and now sadly it must go to a new home. All of the work was professionally done making this beautiful example ready to drive anywhere at a moment's notice. It is equipped with (5) powder coated 60 spoke wire wheels with 5 brand new Kumho 165x15 steel radials. Mechanically it has had some upgrades to make it more of a modern drivable car. The motor is a TR4 motor with a rebuilt head and a rebuilt all syncro non OD TR4 trans and clutch. The stock radiator has been replaced with a high capacity aluminum unit with a temp controlled electric fan and all new belts, hoses and thermostat. There is a rebuilt starter and generator and all of the wiring has been sorted and replaced as needed with the system being converted to 12 volt negative ground. The body was disassembled, stripped with all rust and any questionable areas removed and fitted with the proper replacement panels. It was then properly primed and painted with quality paint. The interior was redone with new side panels carpet and trim. The front seats are in excellent condition and it also has the rare factory rear jump seat which was completely rebuilt to be proper and secure. All new rubber and windshield. Topping it all off are new, never used side curtains curtain brackets and tonneau. The top is in excellent condition with good plastic and in need of nothing.

The car inst a concourse car and has a few details that need sorting. None hinder the ability to drive and enjoy the car. The speedometer needle moves up and down and may need a cable or other attention. The temp gauge isn't original and the gas cap chrome isn't show quality and the top bows should be repainted. All of these were on the to do list , but now sadly the car must go before they are completed. The car is currently registered and could be driven home.
