Very very cool car. I wonder what a 'sensible' offer would be for the other Costin.

Frank Costin seems to use certain features in many of his designs (why mess with a good thing, I guess). The scoop on the door shows up on several of his other designs (in other places, though) and the nose is characteristic of his work.

That said - does anyone recognize the door lock/handle unit on this car? I know I've seen it or one very close to it somewhere else.

If it's like the Marcos door handle/lock it's from the MGB and some other Brit cars. My door locks and trunk lock are of the same type although Dennis Adams designed the Marcos GT. Costin was only with Marcos in the beginning.

Trivia: Costin had a hand in the Lotus 11 I believe, also the Vanwall. His brother Mike Costin is the "Cos" in Cosworth.
