Did anyone get any good TVR stuff for Christmas?

Unfortunately nothing for the TVR. But my wife did get me a very fine car cover for the Mustang!

How about you?

No, but holiday related....I made all the relatives go out to the garage to lift the body off the 2500M during Thanksgiving.

Cheers,
Steve

I received a beautiful set of custom TVR logo floor mats for both of my wedges. And I'm waiting for the refinished woodwork for my 1987 280i to come back which should be here in the coming week so I can reinstall it. Then the interior of the car is really going to pop!

Xmas here was about what I didn't get for the TVR - someone to paint it - still.

I do have a question for Steve though - how many relatives did it take to lift the body off?

I don't know about a 2500, but I moved a bugeye shell with 3 other (not so fit) men over Christmas. I bet the 2500 is less weight?

7 people to lift it off. 3 guys and 4 gals. Frankly, it was much heavier than I thought it would be and I had all the glass out too. Physically, I can lift each end up alone but I would suggest at a minimum you need 4 strong chaps. Not just the weight of the body, but you must be able to lift it quite high to clear the frame work at the back end of the car.

Cheers,
Steve
