Man, that is sad news. My condolences to those who knew him. Wasn't he planning on retiring from racing next month?

Just read a news article online. Sorry to hear about your fellow countryman. Not a good week over there in oz. Let's hope bad luck truly does not travel in threes.

I just copied your original post on to the Racing forum. I felt that the racers among us should be told. Thanks for letting us know.

Is that what the original post said? Peter Brock died? Where's the article?

When I first saw this thread I immediately thought of the other Peter Brock who is known for his design of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. But what a tragic week for the lads down under!

yes there are 2 peter Brock racers....

confusing as the only one I ever heard of was the "other" Peter Brock who raced Datsuns (BRE)

How I remember watching Peter drive his Holden round Bathurst, and the streets of Wellington. He was quite a guy.
The racing and rallying people will miss him.

Stuart.

How very, very sad. It's a dangerous sport yet it is still a shock when someone dies doing it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
