Here's a topic I don't remember being discussed: What songs do you like to listen to while driving your LBC? One of my favorites and the one we use to 'christen' any new convertible in the family is "RagTop Day" by Jimmy Buffett

Park your Herald, angels sing.
Smoke gets in your eyes.

There was a post a while back about this, and some great music listed. One of my favorites then and now: "Jessica" by the Allman Brothers.

I don't have much choice, my 8-track is stuck on Hugo Montenegro and I can only pick up a junky talk AM station.
Think I might get a new stereo this weekend.....
Maybe one that plays cassette?
Has FM?

I've had quite a few LBC's and left the radio in only one of them, mainly due to laziness. I've never been much interested in a car where you could actually hear the radio over the wind noise & exhaust. Must be a generational thing.

To clarify I was speaking about songs to listen to while driving (for those times I'm not listening to the tailpipe)

Personally I find it will depend on what type of driving I'm doing as to what songs seem most appropriate - when I'm on the interstate songs like "Running on Empty" or "Hollywood Nights" fit the bill for me, when I'm working that twisty, hilly road I prefer "Cherry Bomb" or "Boat on the River" - just to name a few. Anybody else find they do the same thing?

Ohhh she was comming around the Mtn at 90 miles an hour.
When the chain on her bicyle broke.
They found her in the grass.
With a sproket in her pocket.
Tickeled to death by the spokes.

My kids and grandkids all chime in when I start with the Ohooo.
