Free to good home, must take it all. This is a project vehicle I never got around to and would like to give it to someone that may be able revive it and find it a good home. Many new parts purchased for the vehicle (top, seat upholstery, windshield, gages, many seals, etc.). In addition, the engine block was rebuilt from the previous owner (but don’t believe the head was), also have the dual carbs, intake, new outer rocker panels, and another hood as the existing is rusted through in the front. Attached are some pictures and invoices of purchased items. Vehicle is located in Gambrills MD. I had this posted for sale but it just needs to go now.

Engine is the 1098cc

I emailed the "seller" last week, but he is not responding.
Conclusion: car already gone; owner not checking responses/on vacation/not really motivated; or it's some kind of joke/scam.

Baloo, I received a PM from someone in NJ, but do not see an email from you. Was it a PM or some other email? This is not a scam, I would just rather see this car back on the road than melted down for scrap metal. Or at least try.

Still have this vehicle? I am working on a really trashed MK III and could really use the body and most of the parts if you do.

Hi Jim, I have 2 people on the line for it right now and will let you know within the week if either of them are going to take it.

Thanks for the reply Brad. I have just picked up a MKIV that has been sitting out for 15 years along with boxes of parts. Hopefully I'll have the pieces I need with this hulk. In the late 60's I had a MK II with sliding windows while living in Germany with my Uncle Sam. Grew to love the car. This is my first attempt to reconstruct a car so please wish me luck!
